SFR is a mobile telecommunications operator and internet service provider. Its Customer Service division (B2C) oversees the development and upskilling of 6,000 employees — both internal staff and external partners — responsible for managing fixed-line and mobile customer relationships. The team's mission: deliver a consistent customer experience at scale, despite high volumes, rapidly evolving product offers, and teams spread across multiple geographies.

SFR's Customer Service training function runs on a lean team of just 15 people, supported by around ten external vendors who handle content creation.
No fewer than 200 internal SFR employees are responsible for a massive undertaking: managing learning operations and orchestrating the training of nearly 6,000 external employees — including support agents — spread across Sub-Saharan Africa, Madagascar, Portugal, and North Africa. These teams cover the full spectrum of customer service functions: technical support, sales, retention, and customer support roles, across both fixed-line and mobile offers. All in a telecom environment that never stops evolving.
For SFR's Customer Service division, training is essential to maintaining service quality, accelerating onboarding, and managing high attrition. Training 6,000 support agents across multiple countries and across roles as varied as technical support, telesales, and retention is no small feat. The team faced several interconnected challenges:
Before choosing 360Learning, SFR's Customer Service division relied on a platform that functioned more like a content library than a true learning management system. Actionable data was limited, blended learning was difficult to manage, and enrollment was cumbersome to administer. Visibility into learner engagement was minimal.
Three key pain points ultimately drove the decision to find a better solution:
360Learning was ultimately selected in 2024 — and the deciding factor was a human one. The platform's clarity, a well-defined product roadmap, and the quality of the onboarding and support experience made all the difference.
“We chose 360Learning over other similar vendors because of the human element — that's what drove our decision." - Frédéric Biguereau, SFR
Today, training at SFR is delivered primarily in a blended learning format, combining digital learning with in-person sessions. This is especially important for technical subjects — such as fixed-line network management (via set-top boxes), mobile connectivity, firmware, and device configuration — delivered to teams who are often starting with limited technical backgrounds.
“Today, with 360Learning, our teams have much more precise tracking of each training program — real-time quiz completion rates, for example.” - Frédéric Biguereau, SFR
The challenge was clear: deploy fast, without losing control. In just two months, the platform was rolled out to all 6,000 support agents. This was made possible by three key decisions:
That's a small group of authors serving an enormous learner population. And yet, every population's training needs are addressed in real time, wherever they are. 360Learning's Audience Builder makes it easy to assign employees to the learning paths that best match their profile.
Platform adoption was a success from day one. As early as 2024, strong engagement was confirmed by excellent completion rates right out of the gate — along with enthusiastic uptake of collaborative features like Reactions.
In an environment defined by high content volumes and an ever-expanding range of topics, 360Learning gives SFR's Customer Service team the confidence that learners always have access to the most relevant, up-to-date content — ensuring trainers have the latest information at the right time, rather than having to navigate through generic content libraries.
“Collaborative learning primarily allows us to keep a community engaged and validate that the content resonated. It gives us that first level of insight very clearly." - Frédéric Biguereau, SFR
