Before they turn one, a child learns all kinds of important skills. For example, reaching for exciting things and then holding them securely in their hand. Moving around: first crawling, then walking on two legs. As a child, we explore new terrain, build our most important relationships, listen and learn to articulate who we are.
Well, the first 12 months of 360Learning in our newest home market of Germany and the DACH region were very similar—a year full of milestones and insightful learnings. From Munich to Bremerhaven, we spoke to L&D professionals from a wide range of companies with a clear message: Your internal expertise is key—and the best way to activate, develop, and communicate this is through collaborative learning.
This message has resonated strongly with you. We are still amazed at what we have been able to achieve together with you in such a short time! Let's look back at some of the highlights of our first year in the DACH region.
Probably the best reason in the world to celebrate our first birthday today with drums and confetti is our first customers. And there are many of them!
27 companies from Germany, Austria and Switzerland have recognized collaborative learning as the key to a lively corporate learning culture. Whether in manufacturing, gastronomy, technology or healthcare - over 22,000 employees are already using the 360Learning learning platform to build skills and grow into new roles thanks to peer learning.
We are particularly pleased that NORDSEE, headquartered in Bremerhaven, chose 360Learning's learning platform last year. Ina Lecher, Learning & Development Manager at NORDSEE Germany, reports on the challenge at the internationally renowned restaurant chain:
"We had no digital learning solution. We lacked direct contact with the employees in the branches throughout Germany. So the mission was clear: identify learning needs quickly and train employees effectively using digital formats.".
Today, 2,500 NORDSEE employees benefit from mobile learning with 360Learning in order to learn in the flow of work and to keep up to date with the latest knowledge on products, hygiene and communication.

A learning platform is an interface on which training courses are completed–but that's just the tip of the iceberg! Over the past year in the DACH region, we have pulled out all the stops to bring our clients an entire ecosystem for collaborative learning.
In addition to our workflow integrations with Salesforce, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams, we have partnered with the HR platform Personio to make collaborative learning an integral part of the employee journey. We are also proud to be an official SAP Spotlight Partner and to count SAP Success Factors among our seamless integrations.
We also partnered up with a range of exciting companies to spread the collaborative learning movement. Many of you joined 360Learning's webinars with Kenjo, OpenSesame, Personio and Verbally. Not least, we had great discussions with many L&D experts during the live sessions organized by eLearning Journal.
So, who are the people behind all of these amazing milestones?
The most robust ship won't get far without the right crew. 360Learning's first birthday in its new home market is also the birthday of our growing Germany team - internally also known as the "Pretzel Team".
We are a team of experts in customer service, sales, digital learning, marketing, business development and recruiting. Over the past year, we have been working hard to introduce our concept of collaborative learning and upskilling from within to companies in the DACH region.
If you’re lucky, you might even have even met us in person during a product tour, at the Zukunft Personal trade fair in Cologne or at the Learntec trade fair in Karlsruhe.
We would like to sincerely thank you for your trust, the many inspiring conversations and your ongoing feedback.
