International Olympic Committee Hires 360Learning to Upskill Summer Tourists on Dealing With Rude Parisians

Paris, France, April 1, 2024 — In preparation of the arrival of 10 million tourists during the 2024 Summer Olympics, the International Olympic Committee has tapped 360Learning, the pioneer of collaborative learning, to develop an expert-led training program designed to help international visitors artfully handle their interactions with rude, impatient Parisians. 

“It’s a huge honor,” said Nick Hernandez, CEO at 360Learning. “We know Parisian hospitality has been jokingly called ‘Parisian inhospitality,’ but it’s not a joke. It’s real. That’s why we’re so excited to upskill tourists and prepare them for different situations when they visit during the Olympics.”

360Learning beat out a long list of competitors to win what’s being called a ‘cultural training’ project, which represents a new use case for the all-in-one learning platform that already boasts solutions for compliance, onboarding, sales enablement, frontline staff training, leadership training, software training, and more. 

Famous for ushering in the collaborative learning movement and making it an incredibly easy strategy to adopt thanks to its authoring tool and AI features, the 2024 Summer Olympics project signifies a major milestone for the 11-year old French company. 

“This is a gold medal win for our team,” said Nick Hernandez. “Our internal SMEs are already busy creating courses to help tourists level up.”

The program is titled Dealing With (and Maybe Even Winning Over) Rude Parisians. And while 360Learning is staying fairly quiet about the actual course material, they did reveal the titles of the first six courses today:
