Here's how to use the skills matrix template:
- Download the template.
- Replace the italicized fields (Role, Skills, Team Members and Others/External names) with your organization's details.
- Enter values for each team member's skills mastery following the 1-4 scale outlined under "Current mastery". Fill in the fields under "Company training needs and objectives" as needed.
- Voilà! You have a clear and simple skills matrix that can be shared with L&D, HR, and stakeholders to inform stronger business decisions and reinforce your skills strategy.
